The Beach Drips with No One’s Sweat
2026, Two-channel video installation, color, sound

The work grew out of a short-term field study with women workers in a textile factory. Presented as a two-channel video installation, the work examines heat, sweat, humidity, and “dryness” as unevenly distributed environmental conditions. It considers how working environments act upon the body, and how workers’ embodied experiences are obscured within products and spaces of consumption.

海滩滴落着没有人的汗水

作品始于对高温气候条件下纺织厂女性劳动者的短期实地调研。
作品以湿润作为表演行为发生的条件。一套持续滴水的装置被搭建，悬于头顶的装置不断落下水滴。艺术家持续裁剪逐渐被浸湿的雪纺纸张并将剪出的数字「33」重新排列于信纸之上。行为影像与装置细节并置，构成双通道影像装置。
作品从高温、汗水、潮湿与「干爽」之间的关系出发，讨论「干爽」如何形成一种被不均等分配的劳动条件，以及劳动环境如何持续作用于劳动者的身体。海滩在这里既指向休息与轻盈，也指向一种由他人的劳动所支撑的想象。
